Modified Alservers Solution
Inverclyde Biologicals manufactures a Modified Alsevers Solution which is the ideal reagent for the longer term preservation of human red cell panels. These panel red cells are used in the laboratory for reverse cell blood grouping, antibody screening and antibody identification.
This solution does not compromise the red cell antigens and haemolysis is minimal after 6 weeks storage. This is a normal ionic solution.
